Carole Malone has slammed Labour leader Keir Starmer’s plan for the UK to tackle the growing illegal migrant crisis.
Speaking on Britain’s Newsroom, the broadcaster and journalist criticised his plan for an EU-wide deal, which would see the UK take in hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants.
Carole said: “Starmer’s confident. Macron is also confident that he's going to be the next leader of this country. Because historically they don't invite the leader of the opposition over to have discussions about the future of the country in doing that.
“Starmer is a fool if he believes everything Macron says about immigration. He's a fool if he believes he can achieve what the likes of Suella and Priti and Rishi could not."
Malone continued: “Macron sees him as a soft touch and this is a way to get Britain more involved with it. They miss our money they want us back in some which way.
“I worry about the other arrangements that would involve us as well, not just immigration, the other stuff that we lost when we left when we had Brexit. I think this is a slow walk back to you the EU.”
