Budget 2024: Rachel Reeves pledges £1.8billion in compensation for Post Office scandal victims
Chancellor Rachel Reeves has set out her pledge to compensate those affected by the infected blood scandal, and the Post Office scandal.
Delivering her Budget to the Commons, Reeves declared that £1.8billion will be given to those needing compensation for the Post Office Horizon scandal, and £11.8billion has been declared for those affected by the infected blood scandal.
