Nigel Farage told his social media followers he thought the General Election is "bombing" today.

In a video, he said: "One week into the General Election, are you gripped by it? No I bet you're not.

"Right at the minute, miles ahead of the polls, is none of the above.

"In fact, you can tell it's really really boring - that the personalities are so so dull - when the front page of the Daily Mail is about Lord Lucan, who disappeared 50 years ago.

"The election is bombing."
