The acceptance of the Islamophobia definition is pre-baked

From a Muslim perspective, Islam's messenger is the best example for mankind to follow. From a Christian one, he is the worst.

This difference is not just cosmetic: It is fundamental.

Islamic societies operate on the essence of Mohammed’s messages just as Western ones do on that of Christ.

The theological gap between the two religions is vast.

There is, in fact, no overlap.

The two religions stand light years apart.

One is the darkness to the other’s light.

Muslim texts, whether the Koran or the Hadiths, need only be opened and read for this to be verified.

Mohammed tells his followers that one can lie to, steal from and kill infidels, depending on circumstances.

The rhythm of the Koran is punctuated by a long list of admonitions in which the reader is asked to punish, terrorise, and slay the unbeliever – you and me.

Believers should not “make friends with unbelievers” (Koran 3:28).

A sentiment repeated a little further when we read “believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends”, because they are, after all, “the worst of creatures, who will abide in the fire of Hell (Koran 98:6).

To make things even clearer, it states thatwhoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him” (Koran 3:85), reminding the believer that “whoever changes his religion, kill him”, according to Sahih al-Bukhari, making apostasy an onerous activity.

On marriage, Islam believes in polygamy versus Christian monogamy, the latter implying equality between the sexes in the eyes of the Creator, the former deeply seated inequality. We are reminded that “most of Hell’s inhabitants are women”, according to Sahih Muslim.

Of course, polygamy is nothing more than institutionalised adultery.

Importantly, in Islam, sexual intercourse with an unbeliever does not count as adultery, not least if you own them (Koran 4:24).

This goes a long way to explain the religious and cultural reasons behind the Rotherham-style grooming gangs’ scandals that have shamed our country.

This is why Marco Polo, the 13th-century traveller, referred to Islam as a “religion with no sin”.

There are none in Islam, while there are plenty in Christianity.

There are, of course, miracles.

Some Muslims do good things in spite of the Koran, from a Christian perspective, while most Christians do bad things in spite of the Gospel.

However, there is absolutely no doubt, Islam and Christianity have nothing in common.

And yet, we now find ourselves at the brink.

The deadline for views on the UK’s legal definition of Islamophobia has been extended to the 20th of July after Angela Rayner faced a growing backlash and legal threats.

But the real change of control, as it were, will take place by August 25, 2025, when the terminology will be finalised.

The proposed definition of Islamophobia is “rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness”.

With this, and our politicised civil service, the bell will finally toll for what had hitherto been one of the most remarkable and genuinely free countries on the face of this earth.

Heading this working group on “a working definition of Anti-Muslim hatred/Islamophobia which is reflective of a wide range of perspectives and priorities of British Muslims” is Dominic Grieve, along with Javed Khan, Shaista Gohir, Akeela Ahmed and Asha Affi.

Having signed off on the 2017-18 All Party Parliamentary Group on British Muslims, as Chairman, Dominic Grieve’s view is already set.

In this, the process to define Islamophobia is rigged, says the brave and noteworthy Nick Timothy, Conservative MP for West Suffolk, as he accused ministers of inviting only “handpicked organisations” to participate.

Nick is right. The acceptance of the definition is pre-baked. Grieve’s colleagues were chosen to acquiesce, not to contest.

It will be waved through.

Free speech will be upended overnight.

Firstly, with an alchemist’s wand, Islam will turn from a religion into a race. The AGGM tells us that “there is no ‘good faith’ criticism of Islam”.

That is, any critical discussion on the theology of Islam will be deemed racist - a revolutionary move.

Anyone saying Muslims spread Islam by the "sword or subjugating minority groups under their rule" would be signs of Islamophobia. These facts, though, are all in Islamic texts and not contentious.

Finally, the document wishes the definition of Islamophobia to be retrospective, “a process that would be invaluable for identifying and tackling Islamophobic crimes”.

Suddenly our heroes and flags fall one by one, from Churchill, who warned us that “Islam is as dangerous in a man as rabies in a dog”, to our flag of St George, carried in battle to the Middle East by our greatest warrior King, Richard the Lionheart, will be deemed Islamophobic, racist and up for erasure.

Having sold our lands and waters to foreign powers and handed away much of our sovereignty, Godless Labour is now preparing to sell our souls.

And through darkness we’ll have to go.
