The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that 24-year-old Brahim Kaddour-Cherif, who was mistakenly released from HMP Wandsworth on October 29, is now back in custody.
Officers said the convicted sex offender was re-arrested after a member of the public spotted him on Blackstock Road shortly before 11.30am, ending the manhunt launched following his accidental release.
