Doyle has been remanded into custody and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Friday morning.

Paul Desmond Saunders Doyle, 53, of Burkhill Road, West Derby, has been charged with seven serious offences following an incident during Liverpool FC's parade on Water Street on Monday.

The charges include two counts of unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, two counts of causing unlawful and malicious grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of attempted unlawful and malicious grievous bodily harm with intent, and one count of dangerous driving.

A total of 79 people were injured in the incident, with seven remaining in hospital receiving care. Doyle has been remanded into custody and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
