Michelle Dewberry was on hand to provide a hug to the host
Martin Daubney became emotional as 96-year-old veteran Colin Thackery delivered stirring renditions of two patriotic songs.
The Chelsea Pensioner, who fought in the Korean War, sang at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and won Britain’s Got Talent, shared his take on I Vow To Thee My Country and Jerusalem live on GB News.
“Oh, mate, I've got tears in my eyes here. Honestly, mate. Absolute legend,” an emotional Martin gushed.
He celebrated: “You've brought tears to my eye and no doubt to many, many people listening at home."
Michelle Dewberry was on hand to provide a hug to the host as the pair marvelled at Mr Thackery's powerful renditions.
