Local MP Sarah Sackman was forced into silence amid the jeers
Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley and Labour MP Sarah Sackman were heckled during a press conference on the Golders Green stabbing.
The Scotland Yard chief and the Finchley and Golders Green MP were met with chants of “shame on you” and “resign” while issuing an update on the incident, now declared a terrorist attack.
As Sir Mark concluded his remarks from the scene, gathered crowds began to jeer.
The chants of the demonstrators eventually drowned out a statement being issued by Ms Sackman, who stopped speaking as a wave of “shame on you” washed over the scene.
