The persistent smell plaguing Fleetwood, Lancashire, is emanating from a landfill site
A Fleetwood resident has launched a scathing attack on the operators of a local landfill site, claiming people are being "poisoned on a daily basis" by toxic fumes.
The issue has been ongoing since February 2024, according to Labour MP Lorraine Beavers, who raised the matter in the Commons earlier in the year.
