Charlie Peters was challenged to try his hand at applying cermaic designs while visiting Portmeirion Group in Stoke-on-Trent.
The GB News star was touring the factory to hear about the industry’s struggles with soaring energy prices and net zero restrictions.
While there, workers set him a task: carefully applying a design to a mug while they timed his effort.
“Not a lot of pressure on me, but I am starting to feel it,” Charlie admitted.
He finished the mug perfectly in just over 13 seconds, giving him a respectful position on the overall factory leaderboard.
The GB News host mused: “Not quite at the typical factory speed, but not too far away either.”
