Conservative peer and columnist Daniel Finkelstein issued a stark warning over the impact of the rise of antisemetic incidents in the UK just a few months on from the Manchester synagogue attack.

He told GB News: "A part of the problem has been the rise of left wing anti-Zionism. That has been part of the issue with antisemitic attacks.

"And part of it is growth in unkindness towards each other, which has come through social media use.

"All of those things have played a role, and all of them have, as often happens when there's a lot of societal unhappiness, it comes down to small minority groups.

"Jews are a small minority group in almost every country we live in. All over the world, Jews feel less safe."
