Today:
Scotland and Northern Ireland will see a mixture of sunny intervals and scattered showers, these most frequent across the north of Scotland where it will also be breezy. Elsewhere dry and fine with good sunny spells. Feeling a little cooler.

Brits will experience sunny spells in most parts.

Scattered showers continuing to affect coastal areas of the north and northwest, otherwise dry with clear spells. Cooler than recent nights.
Thursday:
Temperatures are set to rise further over the weekend.

Northern areas will see sunny spells but also a scattering of showers, some of these becoming heavy by midday. Central and southern parts remaining dry, largely sunny and warm.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Showers for central and northern areas on Friday, otherwise dry and fine with lengthy sunny periods. Temperatures increasing day by day, becoming very hot by Sunday. Some warm nights too.
