Britons have been issued an urgent travel warning for Madagascar, with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) warning of a "high threat of terrorist attacks".
The FCDO updated their information, warning that attacks could happen in places often used by foreign nationals.
The FCDO said: "There is a high threat of terrorist attack globally affecting UK interests and British nationals, including from groups and individuals who view the UK and British nationals as targets.
"Stay aware of your surroundings at all times."

It added: "UK Counter Terrorism Policing has information and advice on staying safe abroad and what to do in the event of a terrorist attack.
"Find out how to reduce your risk from terrorism while abroad."
Despite there being no recent history of terrorism in the African island, the FCDO emphasised that "attacks cannot be ruled out".
The FCDO added: "Terrorist attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places frequented by foreign nationals."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
The news follows the FCDO updating its information for tourists planning on travelling to the Netherlands.
It says additional entry checks may be carried out on "major roads" leading into the Netherlands.
Checks could also take place on international trains and on intra-Schengen flights, Britons have been warned.
"This information is for people travelling on a full 'British citizen' passport from the UK," the FCDO said.

It added: "It is based on the UK Government's understanding of the Netherlands' current rules for the most common types of travel.
"The authorities in the Netherlands set and enforce entry rules. If you're not sure how these requirements apply to you, contact the Netherlands Embassy in the UK."
Additional entry checks have also been introduced in Belgium, set to be in place until December 2025.
The FCDO said checks can be carried out on major roads leading into the country, at motorway car parks, international trains and on intra-Schengen flights.
