A man has been arrested for the rape of a British girl in Gibraltar.
Pedro Luis Garcia Vallejo, 25, has now been charged following the alleged attacks against the underage girl, who was "raped 10 times".
Royal Gibraltar Police have said that he has also been charged with one count of sexual activity with a child.
He is due back in court today after he appeared at an initial magistrates hearing yesterday (31 August).The man has been identified as Pedro Luis Garcia Vallejo

The age of the British girl has not been disclosed.
Local authorities and the press have reported that Vallejo is Spanish.
Royal Gibraltar Police said in a statement: "A Spanish man appeared in the Magistrates’ Court this morning, charged with one count of Sexual Activity with a Child: Abuse of Position of Trust and 10 counts of Rape against an underage female.
"Pedro Luis Garcia Vallejo, 25, of La Linea, was remanded by the courts and will return to court tomorrow morning."
The news comes after a British girl reported that she was raped by a tourist on the Greek island of Halki.
The 15-year-old girl claimed that she was attacked by an Italian man in the early hours of the morning.
After the attack, the girl was taken to a local hospital by her mother.
Her claim led to a man-hunt for the suspected rapist.

The age of the girl has not been disclosed

The man's identity became known to the police through a mix of witness statements and social media pictures.
The girl then identified the man when she was presented with an image of him.
The girl claimed she was raped by a 16-year-old Italian holidaymaker between 4.30am and 5am in the Pondamos area of the island last week.
The 16-year-old left the island via ferry to Kamiros Skala at 8.30am the same morning, reports claim.
