Meghan Markle's star is waning in the American media with Kate, Duchess of Cambridge rising in public prominence, according to a US TV insider.
"Meghan is sort of regarded as tabloid fodder these days," said the insider.
"I wouldn’t say her popularity has waned but her star draw has. She was riding on the cusp of being the Duchess, but a lot of their projects have failed and some of the lustre has gone.
"It would be unfair to say she’s not popular but we are doing less on her. We are more likely to do something on William and Kate now," they told The Telegraph.

The Duchess of Sussex has caused consternation following recent claims she's made, as she promotes her new Archetypes podcast.
The 41-year-old recently told The Cut magazine that the British media had used the "N-word" to refer to her children.
The mum-of-two also claimed a Lion King star said her marriage to Prince Harry sparked similar scenes of celebration in South Africa to Nelson Mandela's release from prison.
Following the Duchess' recent media statements, interest is now said to be turning to the Kate and Prince William instead.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to travel to the USA for the Earthshot Prize in Boston in December.
This will be the first US visit for the couple in eight years and will raise speculation over whether they will find time to visit the Sussexes, who now reside in California.
The Earthshot Prize is a £1million award to a chosen innovator with a plan to reverse climate change, the first of which was held in London in 2021.
