'Give JK Rowling a damehood!' Mike Parry praises author for 'clarity on the way that she speaks out'

Journalist Mike Parry has claimed that Harry Potter author JK Rowling should be "given a damehood" for the way that she speaks out on issues.

Speaking to GB News he said: "The person who we should all look up to and be given a damehood is the author stroke author JK Rowling,.

"She has spoken out with great clarity on the way she thinks about issues which have given millions of people a focus."

Rowling is vocal about her views on biological sex and protecting same sex areas. She has also been criticised for "deliberately" calling transwomen "him" when they identify as a woman.
