A debate on Capital punishment got heated on GB News today as Former Conservative Minister, Ann Widdecombe detailed why she thought that capital punishment would save innocent lives.

It comes as Alabama has executed convicted murderer Kenneth Eugene Smith with nitrogen gas, the first time the method of capital punishment has been used globally.
