In light of this, Tesco and publisher Story House Egmont have issued a recall, warning families to "stop using the product immediately" and take swift action to protect their children.

Story House Egmont confirmed the product is "dangerous", stating: "The key comes apart and causes small parts, which means the product is not safe for children under three years as the labelling indicates."

Families who have purchased the affected magazine can return it to any Tesco store for a full refund, without needing to provide proof of purchase.
