Morrisons' Christmas delivery slots are now open for select customers

Time-conscious Christmas shoppers can breathe a sigh of relief as Morrisons has opened up its festive delivery bookings for those with a Delivery Pass.

Pass holders can now secure their preferred slots for the crucial period between December 20 and December 24.

The supermarket has made these slots available earlier than it did last year, giving people plenty of time to sort out their festive food shopping.

This is great news for anyone who dreads the last-minute Christmas rush.

The exclusive early access offers "peace of mind and a seamless online shopping experience" to pass holders, as they can select their slots before the majority of shoppers.

During the hectic final week before Christmas, having your "festive favourites" arrive at a convenient time makes all the difference, the supermarket believes.

Morrisons' early booking system is a real game-changer for families trying to juggle Christmas preparations.

Instead of frantically refreshing the website in December, hoping for a slot, pass holders can sort everything out now and relax.

MORRISONS

To secure a Christmas feast in their preferred delivery slot, Morrisons shoppers will need to meet a minimum spend of just £25.

This means they won't have to order mountains of food to get their Christmas essentials delivered right to their door during the busiest week of the year.

For those without a Morrisons Delivery Pass, it's essentially a subscription service that lets you order online from Morrisons as often as you like without paying delivery charges each time.

There are two main types to choose from: the Anytime Pass covers deliveries seven days a week, while the Midweek Pass works for Tuesday through Thursday deliveries. Shoppers can pick whatever suits their budget and shopping habits.

Weekly passes start from £5 for midweek or £8 for anytime delivery. Customers thinking longer-term may opt for six-month subscriptions, costing £25 for midweek or £45 for anytime access.

The best value comes with annual passes at £40 for midweek deliveries or £70 for the full week. This works out to as little as 77p per week for regular grocery deliveries.

If you'd like to get ahead of the game, there's still time to purchase a delivery pass before the Christmas chaos.

Commenting on the festive delivery slots, Charlotte Exell, group online director at Morrisons, said: "Christmas is all about making memories, enjoying time with loved ones and having festive fun.

"To help our customers get ahead and make the most of the season, we are opening our delivery slots even earlier this year.

"With the Delivery Pass, planning is easy – it offers great value, added flexibility, and the peace of mind that your festive shop is taken care of at Morrisons."

The latest initiative comes just days after Morrisons announced a new loyalty scheme offering customers a "significant opportunity".

From October 8, the supermarket will treat More Card holders to a special bonus when they shop at franchise stores, allowing them to bag major points.
