Tesco has found itself at the centre of a festive controversy after listing a tree as a "Luxury Evergreen Tree", with no mention of Christmas in its name.
The 6.5ft product, which costs for £60, forms part of the supermarket Yuletide range.
However, the naming of the synthetic tree has sparked a backlash among shoppers.
Susan Hall, who leads the Conservatives in the London Assembly, did not hold back in her response to the naming of the product.

"It's Christmas. It's a Christmas tree. People don't tend to put up green plastic fir trees for any other reason," she told the Daily Telegraph.
She went on to condemn it as "stupid nonsense about offending other people and other religions", emphasising that Britain is "supposed to be a Christian country".
Her comments reflect broader frustration among those who believe traditional festive language is being unnecessarily altered.

Some angry customers called for boycotts of the retail giant, with one user declaring online: "Well, I will never, ever step foot in that shop again."
Another shared a similar sentiment, saying: "Boycott, don't purchase Tesco's plastic 'Evergreen Tree' and support your local market gardeners."
"Leave them there, they’ll soon get the message," a third urged, while a fourth addressed the supermarket directly: "Tesco, hope no one buys them and you are left with the lot. I'll get my Christmas dinner from Aldi this year, I think."

Others accused Tesco of trying to avoid offending people who "wouldn't buy Christmas trees anyway", with one user claiming: "Tesco have re-branded Christmas trees as evergreen trees. Tesco has stolen Christmas."
However, not everyone agreed with the outrage, as some social media users pointed out Tesco continues to sell other trees explicitly labelled as "Christmas trees".
"It's literally one tree; all other trees say Christmas, as do all of the store's decorations. There is nothing to see here," one defender of the supermarket noted.
The supermarket's range includes options from £5.19 to £159.99, most still carrying the Christmas label.
A spokesperson from Tesco told GB News: "We are proudly celebrating Christmas at Tesco and have a range of real and artificial Christmas trees in store as part of a wide selection of Christmas products to help our customers celebrate Christmas this year."
The retailer continues to stock Christmas puddings, Christmas tree tortillas and even Christmas dinner for cats.
It comes just days after Tesco received an outpouring of love for its Christmas advert "That's What Makes It Christmas".
Britons gave it the ultimate praise, with some suggesting it could take the crown for best Christmas campaign this year.
