She often gets mistaken for being at least 10 years younger

Christianne Wolff, 52, is often complimented on her great skin and energetic attitude.

Speaking exclusively to GB News, she explained what she believes to be behind her youthful appearance.

Christianne said she will often get mistaken for being 10 years younger - although this wasn't always the case.

She stated: "I always looked a lot older for my age in my teens, so I never had the issue of being asked for ID etc. It wasn’t until I was around 25 that I started to look younger for my age."

By the time she was in her 40s, however, she was often told she looked much younger.

In fact, the fitness trainer was once mistaken for being a university student.

She said: "I remember when I was in my mid-40s, I was being chatted up by 19-year-old boys asking what I was studying at university.

"They looked horrified when I said I was middle aged with a husband and child. Quite a few scenarios like that have happened over the years.

"I don´t look in the mirror and think I am a shining beacon of youth, but I do have young energy which people probably feel before they analyse my wrinkles."

So how does she stay looking so young?

Good skin can come from a mix of lifestyle factors and genetics, but some steps can be taken to improve its appearance.

Christianne suggested a healthy diet low in processed foods, drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep and reducing stress will all help the skin.

She said: "I put this down to a mainly processed sugar free diet and having green smoothies every morning and delicious nutritious recipes.

"I also meditate every day, which lowers stress levels and slows down the ageing process.

"Quitting or reducing processed sugars reduces inflammation and allows you to fuel your body with nutrients for energy, which helps your microbiome to thrive and reduces stress.

"I also drink 2.5 litres of water a day and don´t have caffeine, hydration is the key to reducing wrinkles.

"All of this in turn helps me sleep well which can age you if you don't.

"But the main reason is probably my attitude to life, I do things during the day that reduce stress, walk barefoot most of the time and spend a lot of time in nature. Mentally I still feel youthful and like to play."
