Tom Brady has dropped a bombshell ahead of Super Bowl LX – he won't be cheering for the Patriots when they face the Seahawks this Sunday.
The legendary quarterback, who spent two decades in New England and lifted six Lombardi Trophies with the franchise, revealed his surprising stance on the Let's Go! podcast with Jim Gray.
"I don't have a dog in the fight in this one," Brady said. "May the best team win."
It's a remarkable position for a man who has a statue outside Gillette Stadium and his number 12 jersey hanging in the rafters.

Tom Brady insisted he has "no dog" in the Super Bowl between Patriots and Seahawks
| PABrady explained that his life has moved through different chapters – from his time at Michigan, to those glorious 20 years with the Patriots, then three seasons in Tampa, and now his roles in broadcasting and as a Raiders co-owner.
"Those memories that I have are forever ingrained in me," he noted. "Now in a different phase of my life I root for people and people I really care about."
Rather than backing either side, the 48-year-old says he simply wants to enjoy the spectacle.
"I just wanna see good football," Brady said. "I wanna see good plays, good throws, good strategy, good decisions."
There's a rather obvious reason behind Brady's diplomatic stance, mind you.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion is now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and the franchise is set to announce Klint Kubiak as their new head coach once Sunday's game wraps up.
Kubiak currently serves as Seattle's offensive coordinator, so Brady publicly backing New England would mean rooting against his soon-to-be head coach in Las Vegas.
It's a conflict of interest that makes his neutral position entirely understandable – even if some Patriots faithful aren't thrilled about it.
Brady was reportedly involved in the Raiders' coaching search process.
When it comes to picking a winner, Brady reckons Seattle has the edge.

He believes if the two sides played each other ten times, the Seahawks would come out on top six times to the Patriots' four.
Still, Brady had warm words for his old club, praising how everyone has embraced the Mike Vrabel regime – his former teammate from those championship years.

"We did it for 20 years. There was a little bit of a hiatus in there, but the Patriots are back and it's a very exciting time for everyone in New England," he said.
The Patriots enter Sunday's clash as 4.5-point underdogs.
