Taking to TikTok, creator @_iamdedi presented her mother on her 80th birthday, stylishly dressed and boasting enviably soft, youthful skin.

Anti-ageing enthusiasts were desperate to know the octogenarian's secret. Replying to one commenter who was begging for her "routine", the TikToker said: "She uses soap and water and Pond's Cold Cream."
