There are countless options out there for women who want to appear younger than their years. Many go down the cosmetic route, opting for a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures that tackle signs of ageing.
Face lifts and neck lifts are surgeries that promise dramatic results, while anti-wrinkle injections and lip fillers offer non-invasive enhancements.
If you're going down either of these routes, it's important that you do plenty of research and that your treatment is administered by a professional.
However, a plastic surgeon admitted that it's possible to look younger without doing any of the above.
According to Dr Anil Shah (MD, FACS), a simple diet change and skin-boosting products can work wonders. He spoke exclusively to GB News about how these strategies can produce anti-ageing results.
A diet rich in fish oils can have 'immense' skin benefits

Dr Shah advised anti-ageing enthusiasts to incorporate fish oils into their diets, suggesting they aim for a minimum of five grams per day.
He said: "Fish oil is naturally anti-inflammatory. The benefits to the skin are immense, including increased hydration and helping your skin create a natural barrier to protect it from drying and damaging your underlying collagen."
The experts at Healthline stated: "Fatty fish, such as salmon, mackerel, and herring, are excellent foods for healthy skin.
"They're rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for maintaining skin health.
"Omega-3 fatty acids are necessary to help keep skin thick, supple, and moisturised. In fact, an omega-3 fatty acid deficiency can cause dry skin.
"The omega-3 fats in fish reduce inflammation, which can cause redness and acne. They can even make your skin less sensitive to the sun’s harmful UV rays."
Invest in a good retinol
The plastic surgeon recommended a "high-strength, low-irritation retinol" for younger-looking skin.
Good skin care is the cornerstone of anti-ageing, and retinol is hailed as one of the most effective products for a better complexion.
Dr Shah said: "I like this combination because you're trying to get the maximum strength of the retinol without irritating your skin, which can counteract any benefits.
"My favourite product in the world is Retinol Forza, which is 1.5 per cent strength with a variety of technologies that help avoid redness."
Retinol, as defined by the experts at Dermalogica, is "hands down the industry's gold standard ingredient for reversing the signs of skin ageing".
They stated: "Retinol can benefit a multitude of skin conditions, but is most recommended for ageing skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark spots for firmer, smoother, and more even-toned skin.
"Retinol encourages skin cell turnover and renewal. This gives skin a smoother, more even-toned appearance.
"Treating acne is another benefit of retinol; it can help prevent dead skin cells from clogging pores."

Use a red light mask
Red light therapy, as defined by the American Academy of Dermatology Association, "is a non-invasive treatment that uses red or near-infrared light".
"Red light is a popular treatment for skin concerns, especially signs of ageing like wrinkles, age spots, and sagging skin," they added.
Red light therapy can be administered by dermatologists, or you can use your own devices at home, although they are less powerful.
According to Dr Shah, a red light therapy mask is "essential". He explained: "Red light therapy works by increasing your collagen and decreasing your inflammation, traits that all good skin needs.
"If you're frequently doing aesthetic treatments, the red light will help accelerate your healing, oftentimes as much as 25 per cent."
