One of the UK's most popular car brands has unveiled massive price cuts, which could see motorists save thousands of pounds off the price of a new electric vehicle.
Fiat has announced massive savings for drivers across its Fiat and Abarth passenger electric car range, with lower prices available immediately.
The new price reductions superseded the Fiat E-Grant, with British drivers potentially saving up to £4,040 on its impressive range of electric cars.
Fiat, which falls under the Stellantis umbrella, has now brought the price of the 500e in line with the fully electric version of the Grande Panda.
Its popular 600e electric car has now reached price parity with the Fiat 600 Hybrid 136hp version, as the brand aims to provide drivers with a "clear incentive" to consider an EV.
Fiat is launching the new prices ahead of the imminent arrival of the Grande Panda, while the 500 Hybrid is expected to hit forecourts in the summer.
The new prices of the Fiat and Abarth line-up:
- Fiat 500e - from £20,990 (£4,040 reduction)
- Fiat 600e - from £26,750 (£3,285 reduction)
- Abarth 500e (Entry) - from £27,995 (£1,990 reduction)
- Abarth 500e Turismo - from £30,995 (£2,990 reduction)
- Abarth 600e (Entry) - from £33,995 (£2,990 reduction)
- Abarth 600e Scorpionissima - from £37,995 (£1,890 reduction)

Victoria Hatfield, marketing director of Fiat UK, praised the introduction of the new price savings across the Fiat and Abarth electric vehicle lineups.
She said: "Fiat is passionately committed to making electrified driving more accessible to customers, and with this new pricing structure for our fully electric line-up of vehicles, we are starting the new year by making this transition more affordable and straightforward for drivers.
"There are no complications with Fiat if you want a great value electric vehicle. With our transparent pricing policies, drivers can simply choose from our range of award-winning models to enjoy Italian style and affordable electric motoring."
Similarly, the Fiat 600e features a powerful 115 kW output, acceleration from 0-62mph in just nine seconds and a suitable range of more than 250 miles.

Drivers could save more than £4,000 off the price of a new Fiat 500e

The new Fiat savings are separate from the Government's Electric Car Grant, which has helped more than 40,000 people save on the price of a new EV over the last few months.
More than 40 models are available as part of the ECG, with drivers able to save up to £3,750 off the price of a new electric vehicle with a list price of less than £37,000.
Popular models, including the Ford Puma Gen-E, Mini Countryman and the Volkswagen ID.3, are eligible for savings in the Electric Car Grant.
The incentive was recently backed by Chancellor Rachel Reeves, who provided an additional £1.3billion in funding to the scheme in the recent Autumn Budget.
