Aldi has discontinued its Savour Bakes Water Biscuits from its everyday range, leaving shoppers disappointed.
The popular biscuits had been praised for being "tasty" and containing lower saturated fat content than competitor products.
One customer took to social media to question the absence of the water biscuits from store shelves.
The shopper posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Hi @AldiUK, your water biscuits are tasty and much lower in sat fat than others. They've recently been absent from shelves in a few stores I've tried - are they coming back soon or are they discontinued?"

An Aldi spokesperson confirmed the bad news, stating: "We have looked into this for you and can confirm we have discontinued these from our everyday range."
The customer responded with clear upset, writing: "That's really, really disappointing."
This is not the first time Aldi has disappointed customers by removing popular products from its shelves.
The retailer recently discontinued its Yeasty Flavour Snackrite Mighty Crisps, confirming they were part of a seasonal range only available for a limited time.
It also removed its popular 160g packs of Deli-Smoked Pork Sausage and Deli-Smoked Reduced-Fat Pork Sausage from approximately 100 stores across the UK.
The decision caused uproar among customers, with one Manchester-based shopper pleading on X: "What happened to these, man. Just disappeared off the shelves. Please bring them back, I'm on my knees."
Aldi is not alone in removing products this year, with other major UK supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda also axing items from their ranges in 2025.
Aldi has established itself as a major player in the UK supermarket sector, currently ranking as the fourth-largest in the country.
The German discount retailer has been recognised by consumer champion Which? as the UK's cheapest supermarket for four consecutive years.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Despite this success, the chain continues to adjust its product offerings, sometimes to the dismay of loyal customers.
The discontinued water biscuits had developed a following for their taste and healthier profile compared to alternatives.
Similarly, the removed pork sausages had been available in both standard and reduced-fat varieties, catering to health-conscious shoppers.
These product changes reflect the dynamic nature of supermarket offerings, with retailers regularly reviewing and refreshing their ranges to meet changing consumer demands and market conditions.
