Private or incognito mode
Private or incognito mode is a great way to see whether an issue you are experiencing is caused by your normal browsing environment or your settings.
Start by opening a new browser in private or incognito mode to check whether any saved cookies or data that might be interfering with browser settings that may be causing the issue. If the problem goes away in private or incognito mode then there is an issue with your current settings.
To activate private or incognito mode, follow the below instructions:
Firefox or Safari
Open a new window in private or incognito mode by pressing Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) or Command + Shift + N (Mac).
Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge:
Start by opening a new window in private or incognito mode by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or Command + Shift + N (Mac). Alternatively, open your browser menu by going to the three dots in the top right corner of your browser and select ‘New Incognito Window’.
If the issue goes away in private or incognito mode, then follow the Clearing cookies and browser settings instructions below. If the issue persists, go to Browser-specific privacy settings.
