Ross Davidson, a 37-year-old former frontman of Spandau Ballet who performed under the stage name Ross Wild, has been convicted of rape at Wood Green Crown Court.
A jury today found the Aberdeen-born performer guilty of raping a woman in London in March 2015.
He was also convicted of attempting to rape and sexually assaulting a second woman in Thailand in December 2019.
Mr Davidson, who lives in Finchley, north London, now faces a prison sentence following the verdicts.

The jury reached their conclusions after deliberating for more than 11 hours.
Mr Davidson had denied all charges, maintaining that his sexual encounters were consensual.
A further court hearing has been scheduled for February 4, when arrangements for sentencing are expected to be discussed.
Prior to joining Spandau Ballet in 2018, Mr Davidson had appeared in We Will Rock You, the West End musical based on Queen's catalogue.

The musical theatre actor and aspiring songwriter met both of his victims through the dating app Tinder.
Prosecutor Richard Hearnden told jurors that Mr Davidson had been regarded as "a bit of a sex symbol" with a reputation for being "charming and charismatic".
However, the two women who came forward revealed he possessed "a much darker side that they did not notice, at least at first", the prosecutor said.
During the trial, Mr Davidson described himself as "sex positive", which he explained meant having "open dialogue, open-mindedness about people's predilections, just an openness to trying different sexual appetites".

The prosecution argued that Mr Davidson believed he was entitled to "sex on demand" and would "resort to rape and sexual assault if he is not given what he thinks he deserves", Mr Hearnden told the court.
The first victim described feeling "helpless" and "scared to react" when Mr Davidson attacked her while she slept in his bed.
She told jurors that before the assault, he had expressed interest in having sex with "a person in a helpless state, someone not moving".
The court heard he also placed her in a sex collar and wrist restraints for approximately 20 minutes without consent, leaving her "confused" and in "a state of shock".
Mr Davidson dismissed these allegations as an "out-and-out lie".
The second victim recounted waking in a Thai hotel room to discover Mr Davidson attempting to have sex with her without permission.
She recalled that when she calmly persuaded him to stop, Mr Davidson responded by saying: "Thanks for being cool about it."
Police traced the second victim after discovering footage on Mr Davidson's mobile phone showing her being groped while asleep, "still and unresponsive" and "at least half naked" in the hotel room.

She only learned of the video's existence when officers contacted her in 2023.
Mr Davidson had already admitted to a voyeurism charge relating to this secretly recorded footage. He acknowledged creating the video "for selfish reasons, for sexual gratification", claiming he "had permission to touch her but not to film".
Becoming emotional during his testimony, he told jurors: "I wish I had never done it."
Sentencing arrangements will be addressed at the February 4 hearing.
