Riley shared that “there were loads of reasons” for the sudden change but it began because she “was ill with food”.

“I was ill for over ten years and the doctors were quite useless about it and I gave up some foods and was literally so much better overnight," she told the MailOnline.

"I didn't realise how bad I was feeling until I wasn't feeling bad."

The couple began removing eggs and dairy from their diets before moving to eat at vegan restaurants.

She maintained the diet while pregnant with taking several food supplements instead.

The news comes after the Riley's swipe at former Countdown presenter Anne Robinson and their alleged feud.

Robinson became the first female host to take the position after Nick Hewer stepped down in June 2021 after hosting for 10 years.

Riley said fans had noticed a change to the show after the former The Weakest Link host had left.

“The viewers have noticed that it's a different type of show now," she confessed.

“Anne was a lot more headmistress style and that suits some people, and some people enjoyed it.

“I don't think it's any secret that I am enjoying working with Colin a lot more."
