Patrick Christys has mocked pro-Palestine demonstrators after footage emerged showing protesters gathered outside a GAIL'S Bakery branch in London.
The clip, shared on X, showed activists disrupting customers by holding placards and signs at the entrance of the Archway store.
Signs visible in the footage included unverified claims reading: “Boycott Israel for genocide and war crimes in Gaza” and “NO TO GAIL'S – Harms locally owned businesses, bad reputation on workers’ rights, has links to Israel.”
Another sign claimed the bakery chain is “funded by investors in apartheid".

His remark quickly drew a wave of responses from social media users, many of whom suggested the demonstration would have the opposite of its intended effect.

A third added: “Great advertising from them, I’ll pop in next time I’m around there.”
Others used the incident to call out the hypocrisy. One commenter said: “If a bunch of 'far right' people did this outside a Muslim store, it would be on the BBC”.
Another penned: “Britain has a problem”.

A further response read: “It’s getting to the point where I’d be happy if all protests were illegal now.”
A spokesperson for GAIL’s said: “Last night, we unfortunately experienced vandalism at our new Archway bakery. Our bakeries are places for the community, and no one - whether that’s our bakery teams or our customers - should feel targeted or unsafe.
"We are a British business with no specific connections to any country or government outside the UK. Our focus right now is on working with the authorities and making sure our people feel safe and supported.”
The People's Channel presenter has repeatedly clashed with pro-Palestine demonstrators both on the ground and in broadcast commentary during his time at GB News.

During student encampments at Oxford University in May 2024, he described protesters as an “absolute disgrace” and accused them of attempting to silence opposing views.
Reporting from demonstrations in Westminster and Tower Hamlets in 2023, the presenter said he had been “mobbed” while covering marches and claimed the atmosphere carried a “bubbling undercurrent of hatred”.
He has also criticised rallies marking the anniversary of the October 7 attacks, accusing some demonstrators of glorifying extremist violence.

In one broadcast monologue, he told those attending protests: “You can take your intifada and shove it up your backside!”
Patrick has previously questioned whether the UK should follow other European nations in restricting protest activity, arguing the country risks being “too tolerant of intolerance”.
The presenter has also been targeted by activists.
In November 2025, masked pro-Gaza campaigners released a video appearing to show his image projected onto Villa Park ahead of a match involving Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The footage featured political messaging and slogans directed at Israel and its supporters.
