Lizzie Cundy has been flooded with supportive messages after announcing her brother, Peter, had died.
As well as the GB News contributor's sibling, Peter was also the beloved uncle to her two sons, Josh and James.
Ms Cundy broke the news to her 82.9k Instagram followers on Thursday, sharing a black and white photo of her brother.
In the accompanying caption, Ms Cundy wrote: "It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to tell you that my brother Peter has died.

"We as a family are heartbroken. Peter was a much loved son, brother and uncle. He worked in theatre, film, had a great love of dogs and of Chelsea FC.
"A real character and a kind soul who will be very much missed. Can’t believe he has gone. Rest in peace dear Pete," Ms Cundy. (sic)
Inevitably, it didn't take long for several of Ms Cundy's fans and followers to flood the comments section of the post with their messages of condolences.
And among the well-wishers were plenty of famous faces, including a handful of members from the GB News family.
Alex Armstrong was one of the leading voices who replied: "So sorry to hear this Lizzie... love to you and your family."
Esther McVey echoed Alex's words: "I’m so sorry to hear this Lizzie. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Esther xx."
Elsewhere, Loose Women star Coleen Nolan weighed in: "Oh I’m so sorry Lizzie.. thinking of you."
"I’m so sorry Lizzy. Sending love to you all," This Morning's Lisa Snowdon penned, while GMB's Charlotte Hawkins also showed her support: "So sorry to hear that Lizzie, sending huge love to you."

The 57-year-old stopped short of revealing the cause of death for Peter. Funeral arrangements will likely be made at a later date.
