The former Love Island host shared the happy news on social media

Presenter Laura Whitmore has shared that she is pregnant with her second child with a series of glamorous pictures.

The 40-year-old former Love Island host announced the happy news using a post on social media, prompting congratulatory responses.


The baby will be Ms Whitmore's second child with husband Iain Stirling, and as she delivered the news, she wrote on Instagram: "Instagram V Reality - Spoiler: It wasn’t just a big meal mama ate.

"She's been cooking away! I'd like to thank stretchy pants and travel sick bags."

The photos showed Ms Whitmore with her growing baby bump on full display as she donned various outfits, including several dresses and tops.

One snap showed her cradling the bump excitedly while sporting a yellow suit, while in another, she wore a patterned white dress.

Fans and fellow TV stars rushed to the comments to respond to the good news, with Giovanna Fletcher writing: "You've been working some magic tricks and I’ve loved it!!"

Emily Atack simply posted a series of heart-eyed emojis, while Loose Women's Katie Piper penned: "Ahhh happy news. Congratulations."

The couple share one daughter, Stevie Ré, who was born in March 2021.

Speaking around the time her first child was born, Ms Whitmore shared her concerns about the dangers of the online world as a mother.

She told The Standard: "Having a child definitely changes your priorities and makes you more sensitive to certain subjects.

"This was something I also had to take self-care about as well."

She continued: "Also, when it comes to the online world and it's changing so dramatically it does make me conscious that in a few years to come I'm going to have to deal with that and it's something I can't control.

"So it does make me hyper-sensitive."
