The second-born Beckham has subtly shared how he feels

Romeo Beckham has made his feelings about the ongoing family rift abundantly clear by "liking" an Instagram post declaring that Nicola Peltz is at the heart of the dispute with his estranged brother, Brooklyn.

The 22-year-old model's social media activity is the most public indication of his opinions on the situation to date.

Romeo engaged with a video posted by pop culture commentator Ash Cantley, which directly blamed Brooklyn's wife for the breakdown in relations between the eldest Beckham child and his parents.

This latest move follows an earlier apparent dig at Brooklyn, when Romeo appeared alongside his brother Cruz in a since-deleted TikTok video captioned: "Imagine hating and we're just here like."

In the video that caught Romeo's attention, Ms Cantley stated bluntly: "I take it all back.

"Nicola is the problem. Victoria and David are trying to rescue their son, I think Nicola forced him to make that statement."

The influencer referenced an interview with Victoria Beckham, quoting her as saying she considers herself "a girls' girl" who loves women, adding: "You have to be a real a***hole for me not to like you."

Ms Cantley also highlighted what she described as a pattern of behaviour, noting that Peltz previously dated Anwar Hadid, who reportedly cut off his own family for three years during their relationship.

"I imagine that relationship to be very controlling, very isolating," the social media commentator said of Brooklyn and Nicola's marriage.

The family turmoil erupted after Brooklyn released a lengthy six-page statement in January, declaring he had no desire to mend relations with his parents.

In the document shared on Instagram, he accused David and Victoria of attempting to undermine his marriage from the outset and claimed they had always prioritised their public image over genuine family bonds.

"For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family," he wrote.

"The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into."

He alleged his mother abandoned plans to design Nicola's wedding gown at the last moment and claimed Victoria "hijacked" his first dance with his bride.

"She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone," he stated. "I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."

Gordon Ramsay, a longstanding family friend and godfather to Brooklyn's sister Harper, weighed in on the dispute at the weekend, expressing confidence that his godson would eventually come to his senses.

"Brooklyn and I have messaged a little bit, our relationship is solid. I love him - his heart is incredible," the celebrity chef told The Sun. "But it's hard, isn't it, when you're infatuated? Love is blind."

Mr Ramsay urged the 25-year-old to "remember where you came from" and warned: "One day you're not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that. That penny will drop."

Brooklyn responded by unfollowing Ramsay on social media, along with his daughter Holly and son Jack, though he curiously still follows Tana Ramsay and their younger children.
