The TV presenter was all smiles as he shared snaps from his family's weekend away

Former A Place in the Sun star Jonnie Irwin has been inundated with support following his latest update.

The TV presenter, who went public with his cancer diagnosis in late 2022, took to Instagram to share a series of snaps alongside his adorable family as they paid a visit to a wildlife park.

In a series of photos, Irwin can be seen smiling with wife Jess and their three children, Rafa, Rex and Cormac.

He also shared some playful snaps with his young boys, including hiding in a dinosaur egg and striking animal poses.

Irwin melted hearts with videos of his children taking in the excitement of the shows put on by staff at the park as well.

The presenter captioned his update: "Just back from an incredible couple of days and a night at @yorkshirewildlifepark.

"Really well thought out for families with the animals, ranger talks, live shows and on site accom.

"I’d definitely recommend the trip for families as it was one of the most fun weekends we’ve done and the boys were constantly engaged. Lots of space.

"Top marks to all the staff and @wildlife_fdn who create a great experience for everyone," he added before triumphantly signing off: "We’ll be back!"

It didn't take long for fans to comment on Irwin's sweet family getaway, with the park itself replying: "@jonnieirwintv Thank you for your lovely feedback. We’re so glad you had the best day and we can’t wait to see you again soon!"

While another fan praised the presenter: "You’re looking so well Jonnie x."

Another echoed: "It’s a fabulous place. Glad you enjoyed it with your family."

And a third fan weighed in: "Awww, fantastic pictures. Looks like you all had a wonderful time."

While a fourth branded Irwin an "inspiration" as they commented: "You are such an incredible man Jonnie such an inspiration," followed by love heart emojis.

Irwin's latest trip away comes just a few days after his family joined their friends for a holiday in Beadnell.

The TV presenter has been suffering from terminal cancer since 2020 but only went public with his diagnosis in November 2022 when the disease spread to his brain.

Irwin has been lauded by many for his candor and honest approach to palliative care and living with cancer and remains a positive influence on his fanbase.

He's even returned to presenting work in the past few months and has been sharing the progress of the rather daunting home renovation he's overseeing at his Newcastle house.
