Comedian Trevor Noah has returned to present the ceremony for a sixth consecutive year, guiding viewers through what the Recording Academy bills as music's biggest night.
Fashion proved just as captivating as the music on display, with FKA Twigs making a striking entrance in an artfully distressed beige creation by Paolo Carzana, featuring twig-like embellishments sewn across the fabric.

The British artist, who claimed Best Dance/Electronic Album during the pre-ceremony for her record EUSEXUA, delivered one of the evening's most memorable looks.
Sharon Osbourne, 73, commanded attention in a sweeping black gown featuring an eye-catching crystal-adorned neckline, her trademark red hair styled sleekly and complemented by tinted round sunglasses.

Folk icon Joni Mitchell sparkled in sequins paired with a gold lamé beret, whilst entertainment journalist Keltie Knight dazzled in a leg-revealing gold number.
British talent featured prominently throughout the evening's proceedings, with Yungblud claiming the Best Rock Performance trophy for his live rendition of Changes recorded at Villa Park.

The award was presented during the Premiere Ceremony by Ms Osbourne alongside musicians Frank Bello, Nuno Bettencourt, and Adam Wakeman.
Yungblud arrived on the red carpet in custom Chrome Hearts, accompanied by Ms Osbourne, who stood proudly as the younger generation of rock artists received recognition.

This was quite the change of scenery for Ms Osbourne, who had hit headlines earlier this week by teasing a potential stint in politics to oppose a candidate in the local election in Birmingham who happens to be a convicted terrorist.
Best New Artist nominee Lola Young also graced the carpet, with fellow Britons Olivia Dean and PinkPantheress among those in attendance.

Elsewhere, British singer Talia Storm also turned heads in a brightly-coloured number.
Lady Gaga secured seven nominations for her album MAYHEM, placing her second only to Lamar in this year's race and marking the first time she has competed simultaneously across the top three categories.
