The People's Channel presenter did not hold back after a clip of presenter Matt Allwright went viral on social media

Ben Leo has vented his fury at Channel 5 daytime presenter Matt Allwright after a clip from his talk show went viral on Friday afternoon.

In the clip, Mr Allwright is speaking to a caller from Crowborough, a town in East Sussex, which has been earmarked to house more than 500 migrants in one of its former military sites.

Mr Allwright listened as the caller from the town, which has a population of approximately 23,000, expressed their concerns about a nearby site housing male migrants.

When the caller claimed "a load of women and young girls" were walking around the town with alarms to protect themselves, Mr Allwright cut in to ask why.

The caller defended the precautionary actions, saying that "rumours" of migrants "escaping" the former military site had circulated among the population.

When Mr Allwright pointed out the migrants weren't "held captive", the caller reiterated the worry the women of the town felt. "Why would that be the case, Lucy? I mean, you have men in Crowborough already. What’s different about these men?" he quizzed.

The caller repeated that "rumours" of the men being "dangerous" had left the female population on edge, but Mr Allwright refused to sympathise.

"With respect, though, Lucy, those rumours, you can choose to believe them or not. Have there been any incidents of violence or aggression or sexual misconduct or anything like that reported?" he asked.

At that point, political commentator Reem Ibrahim intervened to point out to Mr Allwright: "To Lucy’s point, there have been asylum seekers in hotels across the country who have murdered and raped women."

Mr Allwright butted in: "And there have been non-asylum seekers — there have been white men who have done exactly the same thing."

"It’s understandable that young women and girls in Crowborough are afraid and actually taking the precautions," Ms Ibrahim fired back, but once again, Mr Allwright jumped to the defence of those inside the hotels.

The discussion between Mr Allwright and the Channel 5 viewer has since been shared far and wide, predominantly by social media users furious with the presenter's attitude and response to the woman's concerns.

And GB News star Ben was among those critical of Mr Allwright. "Matt Allwright is a sneering, clueless do-gooder who will never understand how illegal migration impacts women and girls because he’s never left the safety of his Oxfordshire home," Ben fumed on X.

"'Don’t believe the rumours,' he lectures a worried Crowborough mum," he added.

Ben's anger continued on Instagram. "This is one of the worst videos I’ve seen of a navel-gazing liberal pretending not to know what’s wrong with third-world men roaming the streets," he typed.

"'Have there been any recorded incidents of sexual assault or violence against women?' Matt Allwright is a disgrace," Ben signed off.

Ben continued his tirade against Mr Allwright on Friday's The Late Show, delving further into why he was so enraged by the Channel 5 presenter's remarks.

"He's an insulated man who lives in a very nice house indeed in leafy Oxfordshire, who claims not to know why women and girls would be worried about 500 random young men from foreign countries roaming their streets,£ Ben told viewers.

"Matt is either too thick to understand why women would say they're concerned about that, or he's doing that typical left-wing thing where they pretend not to know what you're talking about.

"That Matt Allwright clip did the rounds today on the very morning a small boat migrant was handed a life sentence for the savage murder of a young British mother who worked at his asylum hotel," Ben went on.

The GB News star was referring to the murder of Rhiannon Skye White. Sudanese migrant Deng Majek was sentenced to 29 years in prison on Friday after he stabbed her 23 times with a screwdriver.

"Rhiannon's little boy, however, is now growing up without a mother, all because the third world is breaking into our country and people pretend there's absolutely no problem with importing scumbags like Majek," Ben went on.

The Late Show host then delved into a number of other cases involving small boat migrants and asylum seekers who have been sentenced for assaults and sexual assaults on British citizens and children.

"So when people ask what the problem is, like Matthew Allwright, I say, open your damn eyes, smell the coffee, because the rape of Britain is well underway," Ben added.
