The couple beamed with pride as they reflected on their first few weeks of parenthood, with Patrick saying he was “so proud” of his wife during the birth.
Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Penny Smith at the time, Emily said: "I was induced a little bit early because they were worried that maybe he was measuring a little small, so they wanted to get him out.
"It was very, very painful indeed. But I did finally get an epidural towards the end. He weighed six and a half pounds."
Patrick added that he was "in awe" of his wife. "She basically did all of it on two paracetamol until right in the end. It was incredible," he told viewers.
