The announcement was revealed on Good Morning Britain, where entertainment reporter Richard Arnold highlighted the significance of securing Mr Culkin and joked that he’d love to watch the actor react to his own hit HBO drama.
Two additional celebrity pairings are expected to be announced before the broadcast.
These bookings could be among the highest-profile stars to feature on the 12-year-old programme.
Produced by Studio Lambert, the company behind The Traitors, Gogglebox has become one of Britain’s most beloved formats since launching in 2013.

Each episode features families, friends and couples offering candid commentary on the week’s top television moments.
The celebrity edition follows the same format, but with famous faces taking part, while proceeds support cancer research.
Mr Culkin’s appearance follows a viral moment from last year, when he and A Real Pain co-star Jesse Eisenberg discussed the show on a podcast.
Mr Culkin labelled Gogglebox “one of the best shows ever”, comparing it to Beavis and Butt-Head’s commentary style.

Mr Hartnett, who lives in the UK with his family, said he was enthusiastic about taking part in the charity broadcast.
“Tamsin introduced me to Gogglebox many years ago and I’ve been a fan ever since,” the Pearl Harbour and Black Hawk Down star said.
“Having the chance to sit with her, share a few laughs and inevitably say something that embarrasses us both, all while helping raise awareness for the worthiest of charities, is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.”
The 47-year-old actor, who has recently returned to prominence with roles in Trap and Black Mirror, added he was “incredibly excited” to support Stand Up To Cancer.
Ms Egerton, best known for St Trinian’s and Chalet Girl, explained that the couple became devoted viewers during lockdown.
