B*Witched have revealed the reason behind their decision to return to the studio 25 years on from their hit single “C’est La Vie".
Edele Lynch, Sinead O'Carroll and Lindsey Armaou joined Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster on GB News to discuss their latest single, “Birthday”.
Sinead said: “We've been doing it for the last 10 years gigging. But as regards kind of new music, it was our producer, we did a podcast and he felt that he was missing out on the podcast.
“It reminded him of all the good times we had. He got in touch with us and it was just like, ‘I need to get you girls back into the studio to do new music!’
Lindsey continued: “I think the timing was right as well… we've all been having families, some of us had family slightly later.
“So it was kind of just waiting for the right time to be able to commit to it as well. And it's also 25 years since C’est La Vie came out.”
