Brooklyn Beckham has once again firmly signalled his unwillingness to mend ties with his estranged family, posting a devoted tribute to wife Nicola Peltz just hours after his younger brother attempted to reach out.
The 26-year-old shared a collection of images featuring Ms Peltz on Instagram, accompanied by Barry White's classic love song You're The First, The Last, My Everything.
The timing proved significant, coming shortly after Cruz, 20, had made what appeared to be a heartfelt attempt at reconciliation through his own social media post.
Fans of the eldest Beckham child rushed to the comments to offer their support.

"Beautiful couple," one fan wrote, while another penned: "Living Happy with the wife as it should be."
"Good to see a smile out of you legend!" another commented before a fourth fan said: "Lovely wife, adorable pets and great food! Sorted. Enjoy your lives together. It's precious."
However, not everyone was as complimentary. "Call your parents," one social media user commented, while another observed: "Indeed, you enjoy attention."
Another critic questioned the reason for the post. "Is this the couple who don’t want to be all over social media?" they wrote.
Among the images was a shot of Nicola lying on a bed in a plunging black top, her arms stretched above her head.
The aspiring chef also showcased his latest culinary efforts, including two crusty loaves of bread topped with tomato, feta, and basil.
A photograph featured bottles of wine from Harlan Estate, a Californian winery whose products typically sell for between $1,300 (£952) and $2,000 (£1,465) per bottle.
The pair have previously been known to enjoy vintages costing as much as $17,000 (£12,457).

Cruz's olive branch came in the form of a caption-free Instagram slideshow on Wednesday, opening with a sepia-toned childhood photograph showing him and Romeo being embraced by a grinning Brooklyn.
The 20-year-old singer selected Billy Joel's The River of Dreams as the soundtrack to his post, a track containing lyrics about "something sacred I lost" and searching for "something, taken out of my soul, something I'd never lose, something somebody stole."
The nostalgic collection also featured all four Beckham siblings dressed in beekeeping gear, a hobby they once enjoyed with their father, Sir David, alongside a photograph of Cruz with his mother, Victoria.
The social media exchange represents the latest chapter in a bitter family rift that became public when Brooklyn released a six-page Instagram statement on January 19, declaring he had no intention of reconciling with his relatives.
In that explosive post, he accused his parents of attempting to "control" him throughout his life and claimed Victoria had "hijacked" his first dance at his wedding to Ms Peltz.
Brooklyn alleged his mother "danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone" after singer Marc Anthony called her to the stage instead of the bride.
The question of who blocked whom on social media remains disputed.
Victoria Beckham 'hijacked' Nicola's first dance with her new husband, according to Brooklyn | GETTYCruz claimed in December that his parents "would never unfollow their son" and that "they woke up blocked... as did I."
Brooklyn contradicted this, stating his brothers "blocked me out of nowhere this last summer."
Brooklyn has covered up several tattoos dedicated to his family members, including replacing the word "DAD" in an anchor design with a starfish and life preservers, while a floral pattern now obscures his "mama's boy" chest ink.
However, the "brotherhood" tattoo he shares with Romeo and Cruz, matching inkings the three brothers got in 2023, remained visible during an outing this week, as did a ballerina tribute to sister Harper.

A source told Metro that David is "obviously heartbroken" over his son's decision to cover the tribute to him, adding that the football legend "still has his tribute to Brooklyn, his nickname Buster on his neck, and has no plans to cover it up."
Mr Anthony, who performed at Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, broke his silence on Monday, describing the public fallout as "extremely unfortunate" but insisting "how it's playing out is hardly the truth."
