The Beckham family feud appears to be nearing a head, and now, a public apology is believed to be the only way to mend relations between the two sides.
The rift, which is alleged to have begun after Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham’s 2022 wedding, has continued to simmer for more than two years.
It is widely theorised to have stemmed from a dispute over Nicola’s wedding dress and is said to have been exacerbated by the couple’s growing distance from the wider Beckham family.
At the time, Nicola was believed to have initially planned to wear a gown designed by her mother-in-law, before opting for a Valentino couture dress instead.

Brooklyn and David Beckham are believed to be engaged in a rift | PASome reports suggested scheduling issues caused the change, while others alleged that Nicola “intentionally” excluded Lady Victoria from the design process.
Tensions were later fuelled by social media activity, with eagle-eyed followers spotting what they believed to be “cryptic digs” between family members.
Brooklyn and his brothers, Romeo and Cruz, no longer follow each other on Instagram, and his interactions with the rest of the family have become noticeably limited.

The feud appears to have deepened further after Brooklyn skipped his father’s knighthood ceremony at Windsor Castle last week, where Sir David received the honour from King Charles.
Now, despite all of the burned bridges behind them, insiders have claimed there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but only on one condition.
An insider has claimed to The Daily Mail that Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola, 30, would be willing to end their ongoing rift with Sir David and Lady Victoria, if the couple apologises for “selling stories” about them to the press.

Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz did not attend David Beckham's knighthood ceremony | GETTYAccording to the source, reconciliation depends on the gesture of accountability from Sir David and Lady Victoria themselves.
“There is an obvious first step, which would be a public acknowledgement [by David and Victoria] of what they did, and an apology,” the insider said. “It cannot be a performative thing. There is no realistic chance of a reconciliation without that happening first.”
The source added: “It is hard to understand the intensity and the escalation. It seems that they thought they could heap abuse on Nicola without any consequence. They did not let up.
“It mattered what was written. It seemed as if things were being said without any regard for the impact on Brooklyn. He is loyal to his wife.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Nicola appear unfazed by the controversy.
The couple, who first met at the Coachella music festival in California eight years ago, have recently hinted openly about their plans to start a family together.
Sources close to the Beckhams have suggested Sir David and Lady Victoria may have come to terms with their son’s distance, though small signs of reconciliation emerged in October when both parents ‘liked’ one of Brooklyn’s Instagram videos showing him making buttermilk pancakes to Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight.
While Brooklyn was a notable absentee from his father's knighthood ceremony, the football icon didn't let it dampen his spirits as he marked the occasion with a Michelin-star dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Chelsea restaurant.
Mr Ramsay has long been close to both families, and despite the reported rift, seems to be staying neutral amid the tension.

The TV chef's daughter, Holly Ramsay, also posted a photo with Lady Victoria at her recent hen party, celebrating her upcoming wedding to Olympic Swimmer Adam Peaty.
Before the knighthood, Brooklyn had already drawn criticism for failing to publicly congratulate his father when the honours list was announced, and for skipping a fishing trip to Scotland with Sir David, Cruz and Romeo.
Following that trip, Sir David posted on Instagram: “You were missed @brooklynpeltzbeckham.”
