A Place in the Sun presenter Jasmine Harman has revealed that her husband was dramatically rushed to hospital while cameras were rolling for their new Channel 4 series.
The frightening incident happened while Ms Harman, 50, and her husband Jon Boast, 46, were filming Renovation in the Sun in Spain, where the couple have been transforming their new family home.
In Tuesday’s episode, viewers saw Mr Boast speaking from his hospital bed after doctors confirmed he had suffered a heart attack.
He told the cameras: “Just when we thought we were getting back to normal life, or as normal as life can be, mid-renovation this afternoon, when we were with one of the builders, I got sort of pains in my chest and tight chested, achy arms.

“We called an ambulance, and now I’m in the hospital.
“The blood test results suggest that I’ve had a mild heart attack.
“I think sometimes it’s called an angina, which sounds way less scary than a heart attack, but anyway, they’re doing tests.”
Recalling the moment, Ms Harman told The Mirror: “We’d just had lunch and he said he started to feel funny and strange.

“He went to lie down but he then started to get very agitated and said there was a tightening in his chest."
The TV star went on to explain that her husband then started to have trouble breathing, and she immediately called an ambulance.
Mr Boast has previously spoken about a history of heart problems in his family. His sister Jo tragically died in 2016 at the age of 40 from sudden arrhythmic death syndrome.
The ordeal comes after a difficult year for Ms Harman, who lost her close friend and A Place in the Sun co-presenter Jonnie Irwin to cancer in February 2024, aged 50.

The presenter has confirmed that her husband is now fine and is back up and working. “I know this sounds strange but even with the background of what could have happened and worrying he could have died; it makes you feel lucky he just had a mild heart attack and everything is fine," she said.
“But the challenges life throws at you has made me take things in my stride a lot better than I used to," she explained.
This isn’t the first time a crisis has struck the couple since they relocated to Spain from South London in 2023.
Last year, Ms Harman was forced to reassure fans that she and her family were “safe” after at least 62 people died in south-eastern Spain when torrential rain caused fatal flash floods in the region where they were staying.
In a post to Instagram, the presenter reassured fans: “Many of you have probably seen the news about the flooding in Spain. Thank you to those who've expressed concern.
“We’re all fine, we’re all safe, we haven’t been affected by flooding where we are.
“We were in Malaga yesterday, and the weather was very intense, and it’s set to be raining all week.
“But we’re all safe and sound, so thank you, and I just wanted to say we’re thinking about the people who have been more seriously affected by the flooding.”

Furthermore, in August, Ms Harman was pulled over by police for interacting with her vehicle’s touchscreen display, resulting in a €100 (£83) fine.
The Channel 4 presenter later took to Instagram to warn followers about the strict driving laws in Spain, which differ from those in the UK.
In a video, she explained: “Many of you may not be aware, I was not aware, that if you’re driving in your car, you cannot touch your screen even if you are using CarPlay.
“I thought that was what CarPlay was for, so that you could control your incoming phone calls, maps, listening, and whatever else from the screen."
