Brooklyn Beckham has set the record straight on who blocked who in his bitter family feud, after his younger brother Cruz Beckham previously claimed the family “woke up blocked”.
The 26-year-old has now published an explosive six-page statement on Instagram, alleging that he was not the instigator of the social media shutdown, instead claiming that his siblings were encouraged to attack him online before cutting him off themselves.
“Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer,” Brooklyn wrote.
The statement marks the first time the eldest Beckham child has publicly addressed the blocking row in his own words, following weeks of speculation after Cruz posted online: “They (my parents) woke up blocked… so did I.”

| INSTAGRAMFriends of Brooklyn have previously claimed that both Cruz, 20, and Romeo Beckham, 23, blocked their older brother first, before later reversing the move, a claim Brooklyn now appears to endorse.
Mr Beckham’s statement went far beyond social media fallouts, laying out a catalogue of deeply personal allegations against his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, whom he accused of manipulation, press briefings and attempting to undermine his marriage.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he wrote.
He claimed that throughout his upbringing, his parents fed stories to journalists, leaving him with “no choice” but to speak out publicly to counter what he described as printed “lies”.

Among the most humiliating accusations was his claim that his mother hijacked what was meant to be his romantic first dance with his wife.
He alleged that singer Marc Anthony called him to the stage where Victoria was waiting instead of Ms Peltz, before dancing “very inappropriately” with him in front of 500 guests.
“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” Brooklyn wrote, adding that the couple later chose to renew their vows to replace memories of “anxiety and embarrassment”.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Cruz Beckham posing with his eldest brother, before the family feud | INSTAGRAMThe statement also appears to shed new light on why Mr Beckham ultimately blocked his parents on Instagram, a move previously reported to have followed a legal letter requesting that all communication go through lawyers only.
According to earlier reports, Mr Beckham felt his parents continued to communicate publicly through social media despite the request, prompting him to cut them off digitally.
The feud has since extended to major family milestones, including David Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations, where Brooklyn claimed he was told his wife was not welcome at a private meeting with his father.
Mr Beckham said distancing himself from his family has lifted years of anxiety, insisting claims that his wife controls him are “completely backwards”.

Where David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s social media accounts were previously flooded with messages of support, the tide now appears to be turning.
While some comments on Victoria's latest Instagram post remain sympathetic, including messages such as “I hope you are ok. It’s never easy when adult children choose estrangement” and “Keep your head high Victoria”, others have been far less forgiving.

Another added: “Wow what Brooklyn said,” followed by a series of clapping emojis.
Others were more direct, posting messages such as: “We believe Brooklyn." Another read “Just read Brooklyn’s story. Oh no.”
One user urged the family to back off entirely, writing: “Leave Brooklyn alone please. He deserves all the peace in the world.”
