The Met Office has issued a yellow alert for fog as Britons are warned of travel chaos and disruptions.
Patchy fog is expected to hit the UK, particularly dense in some areas, which could lead to delays.
Britons have been alerted to give themselves "the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions" and leaving "extra time" for their journey, with the warning in place until 10am today.
The Met Office stated: "Make sure you know how to switch on your fog lights, and check they are working before setting off on your journey.

"Bus and train services, as well as flights and ferry travel, may also be affected; check for updates from your travel company and follow their advice."
The Met Office warned people to be "prepared for weather warnings to change" and recommended to stay up to date with the weather forecasts in your area.
Most of the south will be impacted by the fog, with it fading towards the outskirts of Worcester and Leicester.
West London will be impacted by the thick fog, with visibility low in some areas.

Heading into the weekend, a yellow wind and rain warning is also in place across Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern parts of Wales and England.
Within Scotland, the Met Office warned of "a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads" and that damage may be caused to some buildings.
People have been alerted to possible power cuts and loss of other services to their homes and businesses.
The Met Office added: "Delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible."
Storm Amy will bring spells of strong winds to Scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of northern Wales and England, including Liverpool and the outskirts of Newcastle.
The Met Office said: "Westerly winds will pick up during the afternoon, peaking during the evening with gusts of 50 to 60mph likely for many areas and could reach 60 to 70mph for a time.
"Exposed coasts and hills will see the highest gusts, which could exceed 70mph."
Britons are advised to protect their property by securing loose items.
