Located on a Bahamanian island, Perfect Day at CocoCay is the larger-than-life experience promising a slice of paradise for cruisegoers.
Guests are welcomed with dancers and energetic music before they roam the island's distinct zones, which are tailored for every type of traveller.
Everything that is offered on the island has been inspired by customer feedback and takes inspiration from what they said they would want to see during a 'perfect day'. Whether you want high-adrenaline waterslides, somewhere you can party in the sun, or if you simply want to lounge by the sound of crashing waves, there is an area for you.
Thrills Waterpark
The standout attraction is undoubtedly Thrill Waterpark, which gives children and thrill-seeking adults somewhere to get their heart rates up.

Waterpark fans will find plenty of enjoyment here, from the towering Daredevil’s Peak - North America’s tallest waterslide - to the winding adventure river and wave pool.
The waterpark is huge and, like all the zones on the island, has complimentary foods and soft drinks for cruise guests.
This includes burgers, salads, sides, and even desserts, such as brownies and cookies. Entry comes at an additional charge, so Royal Caribbean guests must factor this in and ensure they have booked before setting foot on the island. Prices vary and can be found on the Royal Caribbean app during your sailing.
The Hideaway
For something more exclusive, The Hideaway is a brilliant option. It is strictly over-21s and has a real party atmosphere.
Typical of a beach club, guests will find a lively pool scene with DJ sets, dancers, swim-up bar service, and panoramic ocean views.
If you don't want to get wet, there is a bar on the beach as well as two places to dine at, including a snack bar and the pizza place, Slice of Paradise. There are also plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the beach, so you can choose where to set up depending on your mood. Cabanas are also available for a fee.
The Hideaway has an energetic, holiday vibe, so those looking for something more peaceful may want to venture to another part of the island.

Coco Beach Club
A great place to find more relaxation is at the Coco Beach Club, which is Royal Caribbean's most premium offering. Access here comes at a higher price point, but it brings elevated comfort: an infinity pool, upscale dining, and private cabanas - including overwater options that combine luxury and privacy.
Guests are met with a refreshing welcome drink - both alcohol and non-alcoholic options are available - and uninterrupted views of the water. The club has elevated food options, with lobster and filet mignon among what is on offer, as well as flavoured water and a fully stocked bar.
Across the island
Elsewhere on the island, you'll find sports courts, Splashaway Bay - with water activities for children - Oasis Lagoon, snorkelling, a zipline that spans across the Thrills Waterpark and more. There is also a hot air balloon ride, giving guests an unforgettable experience with incredible views.
All cruisegoers can disembark at the island, and many of the areas are free to visit, including a pool retreat, three gorgeous sandy beaches and five complimentary snack bars.

Some drinks come at an extra charge, although on-ship Beverage Packages extend to the island. Similarly, those who have upgraded to Wi-Fi on the ship will still have access to this.
Throughout the island, Royal Caribbean’s attention to detail is impressive - shaded hammocks, plenty of loungers, and quick service keep things moving smoothly. It is worth noting Cococay is vast, but there is a free tram service that will take you to the different sections.
Whether you're hurtling down a waterslide, sipping a cocktail by a DJ-led pool, or lounging in a private cabana, the island earns its name with a versatile and thoughtfully designed layout that lives up to the hype.
Prices for all bookings vary by season. Cruise guests can find out the cost for their specific sailings by visiting My Royal Cruise when on board.
