As the largest cruise ship in the world - a joint title with its sister ship, Icons of the Seas - Royal Caribbean’s newest ship has everything you could need, from jaw-dropping entertainment to world-class dining and seven exciting pools.
There are 20 decks and 2,805 staterooms that can hold more than 5,600 guests, and at more than 1,000ft long, there is a lot to get through. In exclusive early access, GB News has rounded up what you won't want to miss on board.
Dining and drinks
Food lovers will be spoiled for choice. There are more than 40 places to eat and drink throughout the ship, and thanks to the 24-hour Pearl Café and room service options, cruisegoers can grab a snack or drink at any time of the day.
Sorrento is also a great place to pick up a quick slice of pizza from 11am to 2pm. Many of the buffets, cafes and street food spots are complimentary, but specialty dining is available for a fee, if looking for something extra.

New to Star of the Seas is the Lincoln Park Supper Club – a Chicago-inspired venue offering live jazz and multi-course tasting menus.
Other standouts include Chops Grille for classic steakhouse fare, Izumi Hibachi for sushi and sizzling theatrics, and the bookable Celebration Table, perfect for special occasions.
For something more casual, AquaDome Market, a global food hall, serves everything from Asian street noodles to BBQ brisket.
Pair your meals with drinks from over 20 bars, the traditional British pub, The Thorn & Thistle, which has live music and a traditional, cosy atmosphere. For an elevated drink, Bubbles is the ship’s dedicated champagne bar, where you can pick your favourite sparkling wine or even indulge in a cocktail.
Entertainment
There is plenty to keep you busy if you don't feel like leaving the bars - from live music and arcade games, to karaoke, shuffleboard, darts and more.
But if you want to experience a high-production show, Royal Caribbean is pulling out all the stops. Highlight headliners include the all-new 'Back to the Future: The Musical', a high-energy stage production packed with 80s nostalgia and eye-popping visuals straight from Broadway and the West End.
The ice arena hosts SOL - choreographed routines set against immersive digital backdrops. Be blown away by the magician's show, Hector is Magic, laugh at the comedy club, request your favourite tunes in the duelling piano bars or take part in quizzes and game shows.
There is no shortage of atmosphere or choice, with many options going into the early hours. Other ways to stay entertained include a rock climbing wall, escape room, laser tag, sports courts, the Vitality Spa and fitness centre.
Thrill Island and the pools
Star of the Seas features the largest waterpark at sea, found at Thrill Island. Perfect for keeping children - and adventurous adults - entertained, it has six record-breaking slides, including the 46-ft Frightening Bolt and 66° Pressure Drop. Thrill Island also houses a ropes course, FlowRider surf simulator, and mini golf.

Chill Island lives up to its name with seven pools, including Royal Bay - the largest at sea. On top of this, there are 10 exciting whirlpools.
The adults-only Hideaway Pool is the world's first suspended infinity pool at sea. There are live DJs and loud music, giving a beach club energy. Elsewhere, cruise guests can relax while sipping on a cocktail at the swim-up bar, Swim and Tonic.
Central Park
In contrast to the adrenaline-fuelled decks above, Central Park is a peaceful escape with thousands of real plants, winding paths, and outdoor dining. It spans the length of Deck 8, and nature-lovers can discover more about the plants, with their names clearly marked.
Nestled among the greenery are benches and other seating areas, the perfect place to relax and people-watch. Sip barista-made espresso, enjoy a glass of wine at Trellis Bar, or stroll among the greenery as live musicians serenade the sunset.
This gives a neighbourhood feel while in the middle of the Caribbean, and it is where you will find specialty restaurants offering everything from sushi to steak, as well as the Bubbles Bar.
The ship will have its first public sailings this month, and more information can be found on the Royal Caribbean website.
