Waitrose is shaking up its bakery counters with 16 new patisserie treats, including some items that have never been sold in supermarkets before.
This includes Pistachio and Raspberry Croissant Cubes, carrying on the pistachio trend with a new flavour sure to be a hit among British shoppers.
There is also a Raspberry and White Chocolate Crookie joining the lineup – a new version of the croissant-cookie hybrid that took social media by storm.
The new range is all about artisanal quality without the hefty price tag, with everything priced between £1 and £2.40.

Patisserie sales have jumped 10 per cent compared to last year, with shoppers favouring sweet over savoury. White Chocolate & Sicilian Lemon Cookies are flying off shelves with a 41 per cent sales boost, while Raspberry Jam Doughnuts and Pain au Chocolat have seen increases of 30 per cent and 21 per cent respectively.
The crookie craze has Parisian roots – it was born at Boulangerie Louvard back in 2022 before going viral online. Waitrose has jumped on this hybrid trend with its own version.
Those looking to try loaded biscuits can try a new range featuring Chocolate Caramel, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Pistachio Raspberry varieties. An Apricot Orilaise also joins the collection.

There is more good news for fans of Danish bakery, Ole & Steen. Waitrose is expanding its partnership with the popular chain into 15 additional stores, bringing the total number of shops stocking their products to 50.
