Jet2 unveils its first winter programme from major UK hub, with flights for sun and ski holidays

More than 400,000 seats have gone on sale, and bookings are open right through to March 27, 2027. The news comes just weeks after Jet2 launched its Summer 2026 schedule from the airport.

Sun-seekers have plenty to choose from, with 15 winter sun destinations now on the books.

There are plenty of options in the Canary Islands, with flights to Tenerife, Lanzarote, La Palma, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura all available. In mainland Spain, head to Alicante and Malaga, and Portugal fans have Faro and Madeira to pick from.

There is also Antalya in Turkey for something a bit different, and Paphos in Cyprus. Egypt makes the list, with both Hurghada and Sharm-El-Sheikh on offer.

Malta and Morocco's Agadir round out the winter sun options, giving holidaymakers a wide spread of warm-weather escapes.

Those dreaming of a festive European getaway can snap up Christmas market breaks to four brilliant cities: Cologne, Gdansk, Tallinn and Vienna.
