The new routes are on sale now, with Christmas market holiday flights available from 12 UK airports

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have unveiled a major boost to their festive travel offerings for Winter 2026/2027, with more Christmas market options.

The leisure airline and city breaks operator has put four brand-new routes on sale, taking travellers to Cologne, Copenhagen, Gdansk and Tallinn.

These fresh destinations will fly from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands and Leeds Bradford airports.

The move adds more than 30,000 extra seats to the programme, bringing the total number of Christmas market routes to 60. It's a direct response to the huge appetite Britons have shown for European festive getaways.

Birmingham Airport gets twice-weekly flights to Copenhagen, running on Thursdays and Sundays from November 19 to December 20, 2026.

Bristol travellers can hop over to Cologne's famous markets, with Monday and Friday departures operating from November 27 to December 21, 2026.

East Midlands Airport picks up a brand-new connection to Gdansk in Poland, also flying Mondays and Fridays across the same late November to December period. For those in Yorkshire, Leeds Bradford now offers flights to the Estonian capital, Tallinn, with services on Mondays and Fridays from November 27 to December 21, 2026.

Beyond these four new routes, the programme spans nine Christmas market destinations in total.

Travellers can choose from Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Krakow, Prague, Tallinn and Vienna.

These festive flights operate from 12 UK airports, including Belfast International, Bournemouth, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool John Lennon and Newcastle International, alongside the newly announced bases.

Manchester and London Stansted are also getting extra services this winter. Manchester picks up additional Thursday and Sunday flights to Berlin, while Stansted sees more departures to Krakow, Prague and Vienna, giving holidaymakers four weekly flights to each destination.

"We are delighted to be putting four brand-new routes on sale from four of our UK airport bases and adding additional capacity from others, too.

"The expansion comes in direct response to the continued demand we are seeing from customers and independent travel agents looking to explore the most magical winter wonderlands across Europe. We look forward to taking holidaymakers to popular Christmas market destinations and helping them to feel at their most festive."
