Jet2 announces new routes to sunny holiday spots with gorgeous beaches

All three routes are exclusive to Jet2 from these airports. The move comes as customers are keen to lock in their summer plans well ahead of time, knowing that the best accommodation tends to get snapped up quickly.

From Bournemouth, sun-seekers can jet off to Reus every Sunday from May 2 through to October 31, 2027.

It is the perfect gateway to Spain's Costa Dorada, where gorgeous beaches meet Catalan charm. Holidaymakers can explore popular spots like Salou, Cap Salou and La Pineda – all within easy reach.

Spain remains a firm favourite with British travellers, and this new route opens up a whole new stretch of coastline for those in the south. With this addition, Jet2 now flies to 18 destinations from Bournemouth Airport for Summer 2027, giving locals plenty of choice when planning their getaway.

Scottish holidaymakers are in for a treat with two fresh destinations from Edinburgh Airport. Flights to Crete (Chania) take off every Wednesday from May 5 to October 27, 2027, marking the first time travellers can fly directly into the island's second largest city from Scotland.

It's a gateway to Crete's western coast, with its charming villages, natural beauty and sandy beaches – plus popular resorts like Malia and Hersonissos are on offer.

Meanwhile, Pula in Croatia launches with Sunday services from May 2 to October 17, 2027, bringing Roman history, stunning coastline and Italian-influenced culture within reach.

This brings Edinburgh's summer total to 40 destinations.
